The Sunnyside School District says phones are now down in each school and administrative buildings.
Pioneer and Harrison reportedly canceled all after-school activities. Sunnyside High is having coaches contact athletes for the next steps.

According to Pacific Power, 1,261 customers are currently without power in Sunnyside.
The cause is currently unknown and crews have been notified. Power is estimated to be restored before 8:30 p.m.
According to the Sunnyside School District on Facebook, multiple schools in Sunnyside are also without power.
Chief Kamiakin, Pioneer, Harrison and Sunnyside High are each experiencing the outage, however their phones are working.
