Pop-Up Art Gallery will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Yakima Valley Libraries

YAKIMA, Wash.-Yakima Valley Libraries is hosting a pop-up art gallery in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

YVL is partnering with the Mezcla Collective for the free gallery that honors local Hispanic artists from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Yakima Central Library.

“This event not only showcases their remarkable work but also brings our community together to celebrate the stories and voices that shape Yakima,” said Sully Gama, YVL Marketing Manager.

The theme of the gallery is “Celebrating Hispanic Local Artists” and will feature the collected works of local artists.

According to YVL, attendees of the gallery will experience a diverse range of art that reflects the cultural richness and creative spirit of Hispanic artists in the community.

The Yakima Central Library is located at 102 N. 3rd Street.
