KENNEWICK, Wash.- Police took a man into custody for trespassing when they found narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and items that pointed to the sale of controlled substances.
Kennewick police say they were performing extra patrols on Sunday, August 4, around 8 a.m. when they spotted an encampment on private property.
A 35-year-old man was initially arrested for criminal trespassing when officers found narcotic accessories, small bags, and a scale.
This was enough for police to book the suspect into Benton County Jail for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
