BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – A pickup truck caught fire Saturday afternoon heading eastbound on I-82 according to Benton County Fire District 1.
According to BCFD1, the truck’s driver called 911 at around 3:25 p.m. along with passerby drivers to report that the truck’s engine was smoking.
The driver pulled off of I-82 onto Coffin Road. BCFD1 crews arrived to find the truck fully engulfed in flames.
BCFD1 put out the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby grasses.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
