SEATTLE, Wash.-The Pete Carroll era in Seattle is officially over, according to a social media post from the Seahawks.
Jody Allen released a statement on Carroll, the winningest coach in Seahawks history, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, which read in part:
“After thoughtful meetings and careful consideration for the best interest of the franchise, we have amicably agreed with Pete Carrol that his role will evolve from Head Coach to remain with the organization as an advisor.”
