YAKIMA, Wash.- The 2023 Pathway to the Top College and Career Expo will be on Tuesday, October 3 at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
South Central Washington STEM Network is encouraging students across the region to participate.
This event is designed to fit the unique needs of the community featuring Universities Tech schools military representatives and apprenticeship programs.
The event will be split into two different sessions.
Session one will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will focus on presentations and interactive workshops designed to cover essential pieces of future planning. Presentations on Financial Aid, scholarships, and resume building will be available.
The second session will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will focus on GED assistance resources and helping those who seek educational advancement. Education presentations on resume building and interview skills will be available.
“We are eager to host the ‘Pathway to the Top’ College and Career Expo and to provide a platform for students to explore their potential and chart their course towards a successful future,” said Shelly O’Neill, Career Connected Learning/CTE Graduation Pathways Coordinator at ESD 105. “This event aims to empower students with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their educational and professional pathways.”
