PASCO, Wash.-The City of Pasco’s Winterfest is set for Dec. 9-14.
The community is invited to enjoy a week of family-friendly events and entertainment, including a visit from the Grinch.
Winterfest kicks off with a Candy Cane Scavenger hunt Dec. 9-12, with clues to where candy canes are hidden posted daily to the Pasco Parks facebook page at 8 a.m.
As candy canes are found throughout the city participants can scan a QR code to be entered into a prize drawing. Daily winners will be announced on facebook and the grand prize winner will be announced at the tree lighting on Dec. 14, according to the City of Pasco.
The “Polar Express” will be shown at Fairchild Cinemas on Dec. 11 from 6-7 p.m. and “Fred Claus” will screen on Dec. 14 from 9-10 a.m. The holiday films are free, however, admission is first come, first served.
The Winterfest Celebration and Tree Lighting will be 3-6 p.m. in Peanuts Park on Dec. 14.
Winterfest will include Christmas music, kids’ games and crafts, vendors and visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
