PASCO, Wash.-Over the next few weeks, the City of Pasco will continue curb patching, install traffic control and relocate mailboxes as part of the ongoing Sylvester Street Safety Improvement Project.

The city will be patching curbs to ensure a seamless transition along Sylvester Street and traffic control measures will be installed to safely manage the flow of traffic, according to a City of Pasco social media post.

Mailboxes along Sylvester will also be moved to accommodate the new road infrastructure.

The $4.9 million project to improve safety for traffic and pedestrians began on April 8 and will continue to cause some temporary traffic delays and lane closures on Sylvester Street, however, two-way traffic and access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

The City of Pasco will continue to post updates on the project as it progresses.
