PASCO, Wash.-Pasco’s newest fire station at 3624 Rd. 100 is now operational.

Station 85 officially opened at 8 a.m. on Feb. 14 and will be staffed by four personnel, a medic unit and a structure engine.

According to the City of Pasco, the opening of Station 85 is a milestone in its commitment to safety and emergency preparedness and the community is invited to a grand opening that will be held in April.

“The establishment of Station 85 is a testament to the City Council’s ongoing investment in the safety and well-being of our community,” said Pasco Fire Chief Kevin Crowley.

Station 85’s strategic location ensures a primary response area that covers neighborhoods south of I-182 and extends support to the regions served by Station 83 and Station 84.

“With this new station, the City is enhancing the ability to respond more quickly to emergencies, thereby increasing the safety net for our residents,” said Chief Crowley.
