KENNEWICK, Wash. — A 26-year-old Benton City man could be facing felony charges after he hit a 26-year-old Pasco woman early Sunday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the woman was walking on state Route 397 when the man drove onto the sidewalk and hit her. The driver continued driving before a Kennewick Police officer pulled him over and took him into custody.
WSP believes the man was driving under the influence. Emergency responders took the woman to TRIOS for her injuries.
