PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco was awarded $90,000 to put towards a more sustainable and green future through new electric vehicle charging stations, according to a Facebook post.
A new station will be installed at City Hall on North Third Avenue. The station will include nine dual-plug charging stations, featuring 18 dual-head level two J1772 chargers.
The City says the new station aligns with its commitment to reduce emissions by 40 percent from levels found in 2000 by 2030.
The City also says the location works well for residents, commuters, visitors and city employees by being near I-182, the police station, Columbia Basin College, the Pasco Airport and other parts of the Tri-Cities.
