Pasco Police arrest alleged vehicle prowler, emphasize locking car doors

PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco Police Department arrested a man that was allegedly roaming neighborhoods and stealing from cars early Tuesday morning.

PPD says before 6 a.m., a man was allegedly rummaging through cars in West Pasco and stealing from them, including a gun that was left in one of the vehicles.

A family reportedly saw him stealing from their car and pinned him before police arrived. He was arrested for prowling vehicles along with firearm theft, unlawful possession and preexisting warrants.

PPD also urges the community to lock their car doors at night and to not keep weapons or valuables inside.
