PASCO, Wash.-The City of Pasco has been awarded two grants totaling almost $7 million for overlay projects on Ainsworth Ave. and Lewis St. aimed at making the streets safe, efficient and accessible.
The $6,766,000 in grants were awarded under the National Highway System Asset Management Program. The Ainsworth project will get $2,052,000 and the Lewis St. project will receive $4,714,000, according to a press release from the city.
The grants are for overlay projects to extend the life and improve the functionality of roads at both locations.
The projects are scheduled for 2026 and also include necessary updates for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), according to the City of Pasco.
