YAKIMA, Wash.- A project to repair irrigation main lines in Yakima from Monday, May 6, through Tuesday, May 7, is predicted to affect traffic from 7:00 p.m. to 7 a.m.
According to the City of Yakima, road closures will occur in the areas of Mead Ave. and 3rd Ave during the designated repair time. On May 6, the section of Mead Ave. between 3rd Ave. and 2nd Ave. will be closed while work is underway. On May 7, the section of 3rd Avenue between Mead Avenue and Logan Avenue will be closed.
The City of Yakima says that detour routes will be available; however, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area. The city will working to keep properties in the area accessible.
