TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Heavy snowfall around the region made a mess of roads and kept law enforcement busy responding to crashes on Thursday, Jan. 19.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Troopers responded to 111 collisions during the snowstorm on Thursday.

Most of the collisions were due to drivers going too fast for the conditions, according to Trooper Chris Thorson.
