WEST RICHLAND, Wash.-The 23rd Annual Operation Candy Cane Food Drive is set for Saturday, Dec. 7 in Flat Top Park.
Benton County Fire District 4 is hosting the food drive from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is asking the community to bring nonperishable, unexpired food to donate.
Firefighters will be in attendance at the food drive handing out candy canes, according to a BCFD 4 social media post.
For those that are unable to make the Candy Cane Food Drive, food donations may also be dropped off at Fire Station 420 at 2604 Bombing Range Road through Dec. 15.
All food that is donated will be distributed to local families by Operation We Care Tri-Cities.
