YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-Two people were injured in a head-on crash on Ahtanum Road on Nov. 24.
Yakima County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the two-car crash on the 22000 block of Ahtanum Road around 3 p.m.
Two people were injured in the crash, one of whom was transported to Harborview with serious injuries, according to YCSO.
It was snowing in the area and there was snow on the roadway at the time of the crash. Ahtanum Road was closed for about five hours after the crash and traffic was diverted, according to Casey Schilperoort with the YCSO.
The YCSO Traffic Unit is now investigating the crash and there were signs of intoxicants at the scene, according to Schilperoort.
