PASCO, Wash.- Police have booked a man for vehicular assault after a driver, believed to be under the influence of alcohol, crashed into a pickup truck.
According to Pasco Police, they responded to a crash blocking the roadway on the Lewis St. overpass in Pasco near 1st Ave., and Lewis St. They later confirmed that the driver who caused the accident drove into the westbound lane of the oncoming traffic lane.
The driver’s passenger is reported to be substantially hurt and receiving medical attention. Police did not confirm whether or not the driver of the pickup truck was injured.
