SUNNYSIDE, Wash.-One person is dead after a shooting in Sunnyside on the night of May 27.
According to Sunnyside PD, the shooting on the 1900 block of S. 13th Street happened around 6:44 p.m. when the suspect cut in front of the victim’s car and shot them.
A 21-year-old man was killed in the shooting.
The suspect, a 20-year-old Outlook man drove away from the scene, but crashed his car and continued running before being caught with the help of the public after a brief chase, according to police.
