NEW YORK, NY.-It’s the busiest time of the year at the North Pole and the ADP Research Institute, an employee and labor market research firm has released a report on the wages holiday workers make up north.
Using a transformer model to estimate wages based on imaginary titles and descriptors, ADPRI calculated the wages for all the jobs at the North Pole, from tree trimmers and snowman nose cleaners to Santa himself.
According to ADPRI, most jobs at the North Pole or in Santa’s workshop pay at least $15 per hour, with Santa making $34.82 an hour (although he does only work one day a year).
