Nightly closures of Nob Hill Blvd in Yakima scheduled for week of September 25

YAKIMA, Wash.-More overnight closures and traffic restrictions are scheduled for two different projects in Yakima from September 25-28.

Nightly closures of Nob Hill Blvd:

Nob Hill Blvd will be closed between 13th Ave and 29th Ave as part of a grind and overlay project, with the closures lasting from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday evenings according to the City.

“The contractor needs to go back to nights for this project one more week,” said Acting Construction Supervisor Dana Kallevig.

The resurfacing project on Nob Hill Blvd began on June 26 and is expected to last until mid-October according to the City.

24th and Racquet Ln:

Another traffic project will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction on 24th Ave at Racquet Ln on Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26.

Traffic will be down to one lane from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days as crews tear out and replace the approach according to the City of Yakima.

Flaggers will be on site to assist drivers through the area.
