New VA Clinic coming to Lewistown will be double the size of existing clinic

LEWISTOWN, Mont. – The Veterans Health Administration awarded a contract to build a new VA Outpatient Clinic in Lewistown.

This new clinic will be almost double the size of the exisiting clinic, sitting at about 6,100 sqft.; they will continue to offer primary care, dietician services, telehealth, lab services, and Veteran Transportation Servicse.

This new clinic will be constructed using the PACT model, which stands for patient aligned care team, this will optimize patient care services; according to the Montana VA, the current provider is a Women’s Health Provider. Mental health services will also be available through tele-health.

Currently, there are more than 770 enrolled Veterans in the Lewistown area who can use this new location as their closest VA facility.

It will be located at Lot 3, U.S. Highway 87 West in Lewistown. This will be leased by the Montana VA for the next 5 years. This contract will be a build-out from the ground up. Construction will begin after the design of the new facility is completed and construction is expected to be completed in the Spring/Summer of 2026.

Veterans can connect to their VA healthcare records, information, and message their VA care teams 24 hours a day through the MyHealtheVet patient portal. Montana VA information, updates, and events are available on the Montana VA website and Facebook page.
