GRANGER, Wash.-A new mural will be installed on the side of Yakima Neighborhood Health Services’ Granger Medical Clinic at 112 Main Street on Thursday, May 30 at 11 a.m.
The 12-by-12 foot mural entitled “Healthcare for All” was designed by Cecelia DeLeon, a King County artist known for her digital illustrations and paintings inspired by her Mexican American background, including the themes of social justice, immigration and human rights, according to a Yakima Neighborhood Health release on the installation.
Volunteers painted the mural that will be installed on the side of the clinic facing the public park on Main Street.
The Washington Health Benefits Exchange and UrbanArtworks, a nonprofit that engages youth, artists and the community in the creation of public art.
