CONCORD, N.H.,-New Hampshire announced that it will hold its Presidential Primary on Jan. 23, in defiance of President Biden’s plan to give South Carolina the first Democratic primary.
According to NBC News reporting, the announcement means New Hampshire will remain the first primary, however, President Biden’s name will not appear on the ballot now and the state could face punishment from the Democratic National Committee.
New Hampshire’s move means it retains its “first in the nation” primary status.
