RICHLAND, Wash. – The Drug Enforcement Administration has announced the date for its National Prescription Drug Take Back Day as October 28.
The Richland Police Department is holding a takeback event at its station for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The RPD urges for people to bring their unneeded medications to the station to prevent medication misuse, noting that the drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear threat to public safety.
The RPD’s station is located at 871 George Washington Way in Richland.
