KENNEWICK, Wash.-The Museum at Keewaydin is hosting a Mammoth event from noon to 4 p.m. on June 22.
The East Benton County Historical Society Museum at Keewaydin is partnering with the Wenas Mammoth Foundation and the McBones Research Center Foundation for the event.
Attendees will get to explore the Wenas Mammoth Foundation Mobile Exhibit and the Museum of Keewaydin’s Mammoth Exhibit.
The free, family-friendly event will include a brush-box activity where visitors can unearth bones with a brush, as well as classes every hour on the history and progress of mammoth digs in the area, according to the museum.
The Museum at Keewaydin is located at 205 W. Keewaydin Drive in Kennewick.
