RICHLAND, Wash. – A crash involving multiple vehicles blocked westbound SR 240 in Richland on Monday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson says a pickup truck and a trailer crashed at milepost 36, which caused three more collisions. Two two-car crashes and a five-car crash with multiple injuries happened.
WSDOT says traffic was backed up at milepost 36 and reduced to a single lane of travel. Lanes are now fully reopened.
