KENNEWICK, Wash.–A motorcyclist was pulled over on Bob Olsen Parkway after speeding on wet road conditions, where it was found the rider did not have a motorcycle endorsement and it was impounded.

Training and experience are important for those who ride motorcycles because 75% of fatal collisions on a motorcycle in the state have involved a rider who was not endorsed, according to a Kennewick Police Department Facebook post.

KPD has responded to multiple motorcycle collisions on Bob Olsen Parkway caused by excessive speeding, and this morning’s road conditions took part in making the incident a dangerous one, according to the post.
