Moment plane narrowly misses golfer while crashing caught on camera

This is the dramatic moment a plane crashed at a golf course – narrowly missing a golfer.

The plane, a single-engine Piper PA-28, went down at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex near Sacramento on Sunday (Aug 4) at around 1:15 p.m. PT.

CCTV shows a man preparing to hit a ball as the small plane hits the ground and skids across the putting green – just meters away from the golfer.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the pilot suffered minor injuries and was able to walk away from the incident.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board have launched an investigation.
