This is the moment a mom discovered her husband had secretly named their daughter after a – Batman character.

Via, 27, and husband Carson, 25, both agreed Nora was the perfect name for their little girl.

But it wasn’t until Thanksgiving over a year later that Via realized the true inspiration for the name.

The California couple, who did not want to give their surname, were watching an episode of “Batman: The Animated Series.”

It emerged then that the wife of one of Carson’s favorite characters, Mr. Freeze, is called – Nora.

Footage shows personal trainer Via’s shocked reaction.

She said: “I was shocked at first because I had no idea.

“But then I thought it was cute. Honestly, I’m impressed he kept it so close to his chest for over a year!”

Carson, a wedding photographer, suggested the name Nora as soon as they found out they were having a girl.

Via loved its simplicity and meaning, especially since most of Carson’s previous name ideas had been “dorky” movie references.

She said: “I was just happy we found a name we both loved.

“Every other name he pitched had some dorky movie reference, so I thought this one was safe.”

Carson even made subtle references to the show by calling their daughter “snowflake,” a nod to Mr. Freeze’s icy persona.

Via said: “Looking back, all the clues were there.

“His profile photo is Mr. Freeze on so many things – I should have known!

“And he ‘accidentally’ proposed me on National Batman Day.”

The revelation has only made Via love her daughter’s name more.

She said: “Nora means ‘light of God,’ and as Christians, that holds a special place in our hearts.

“It’s funny that it also has this nerdy backstory tied to it.

“He told me afterward how much he loved how deeply Mr. Freeze cared for his wife.”

“But all future baby names will come with a thorough background check!”
