MISSOULA, Mont. – The Windermere SUP Cup has been canceled after 11 years of stand-up paddleboard racing on the Clark Fork River.

The race was scheduled for July 21 this year, but a post from the organizers on Facebook announced the event will be canceled.

The Windermere SUP cup drew in recreational and elite paddlers from all across the country since it started in 2013.

The race historically covered 4.6 miles of the Clark Fork from Sha-Ron fishing access to McCormick Park.

Racers who have already registered will be refunded.
