Mid-Columbia Libraries to kick off Summer Reading Challenge with Starter Party

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Mid-Columbia Libraries are kicking off their Summer Reading Challenge with a starter party at its Kennewick branch on Sat., June 15.

The party features free books from the Children’s Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia, LEGO free play, a raffle and more.

Along with the reading-related activities, attendees can visit the Demonstration Garden for activities provided by the WSU Master Gardeners of Benton & Franklin Counties.

The party starts at 9 a.m. and goes until noon at the Kennewick branch by Highlands Grange Park. Visit the Mid-Columbia Libraries website to learn more about participating in its yearly Summer Reading Challenge.
