Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said on Tuesday, January 14, that the Senate’s trial of President Trump will likely begin next Tuesday.
NBC News reports McConnel said the start date will depend on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sending the two articles of impeachment to the Senate on Wednesday.
