YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Police Department found a man with several stab wounds near the 900 block of S. 40th Ave. around 12:30 a.m. on January 1.
According to YPD Public Information Officer Yvette Inzunza, the man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect in the stabbing has been arrested for assault in the 1st degree and booked into the Yakima County Jail.
Officer Inzunza said this is an isolated incident and is not connected to the stabbing on 1st Street.
