YAKIMA, Wash.-One person is in the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a shooting on Dec. 4.
YPD Officers responded to the north side of Yakima Ave. and Naches Ave. around 11:13 a.m. after reports of the shooting.
According to the YPD, a car pulled up and fired multiple times, hitting one male. The victim was transported to the hospital.
Another male with the victim was uninjured in the shooting and left the scene, according to YPD, but was detained by Police on unrelated charges near 1st and Lincoln.
YPD Detectives are looking for any surveillance video in the area that may have captured the shooting. At this time it is believed that the shooting was gang-related.
