YAKIMA, Wash.- A 52-year-old man died Saturday morning after his home caught on fire.
According to West Valley Fire-Rescue, firefighters responded to a fire in a former outbuilding converted into living quarters.
During the primary search, first responders removed a man from the burning building and promptly performed CPR and life-saving procedures. Despite their efforts, the man died. Firefighters put out the flame shortly thereafter.
The Yakima County Fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
