BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-A man is in jail after making threatening statements and charging a patrol car with a hammer on Dec. 3.
The potentially suicidal man allegedly threatened to kill himself and his parents, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
The man reportedly raised a hammer above his head and charged a patrol car as Deputies responded. Deputies drove around the man to avoid confrontation and were able to re-contact him on Reata Rd.
The man was reportedly uncooperative, however, Deputies were able to take him into custody with minimal use of force, according to the BCSO. After being treated for some self-inflicted injuries the man was booked into the Benton County Jail.
