Not every Love Is Blind Season 7 couple got the chance to go to Mexico. In Episode 5, Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski got engaged, but they didn’t head down to Cabo for a romantic getaway like the other six couples. They briefly discussed the trip after their engagement, but agreed to go to Miami if they didn’t wind up going to Mexico.
After meeting in person, a title card flashed on the screen: “Brittany and Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by producers to continue their journey in Mexico. They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement weeks later.”
TV Insider spoke with Leo about this mysterious turn of events. When asked why he and Brittany didn’t go to Mexico, he replied, “You’ll have to ask production about that.” We followed up with him and asked when they found out they weren’t going. “After the reveal, we were told,” he said.
Leading up to their engagement, Leo and Brittany’s relationship in the pods was a major focus, so it’ll probably come as a shock to most fans that they didn’t go to Mexico. TV Insider followed up again with Leo about whether or not he had any intel about not getting an invite. “It’s a great question. Again, you’ll have to ask production. I don’t know,” he replied.

Even though Leo and Brittany’s relationship didn’t last, there’s no bad blood between them. They broke off their engagement but remain friends today.
“We still really care for each other, and it’s one of the reasons that we got so close is because we really are comfortable around each other, and we can just talk forever,” Leo told TV Insider. “I mean, we easily spend two hours on the phone like it’s nothing. I mean, just last night, we spoke for an hour on the phone. So a lot of it’s just really nice to have a good friend to talk to and someone who went through this experience together.”
