Have you ever gotten the ick? Hannah Jiles sure has. And so has Monica Davis. As a matter of fact, it just might be part of the female experience.
Nick Dorka now knows about it, too, after that duck moment on the beach in Cabo in Episode 5 of Love Is Blind Season 7. While goofing off, he spotted a duck toy on the beach. He decided to hop around on it with a fellow beachgoer. Hannah didn’t get as much enjoyment out of the ducks as Nick did. TV Insider spoke with Nick and Hannah about what went down in Cabo.
“That’s something I do, and so if you are going to accept me as your partner, I do stupid stuff like that sometimes and it was lighthearted,” Nick told TV Insider. He still doesn’t understand what the big deal was. “I didn’t think it was that deep,” he added. However, he did acknowledge Hannah’s view of things and said he “couldn’t handled that a little bit different, but I was just having some fun.”
In his defense, he asked Hannah to join him, but she was not interested in that endeavor. Luckily for him, another person wanted to join his made-up game. Out of the blue, a lady dressed in a mismatched bikini approached him to enter his “competition.” She was not affiliated with Love Is Blind. She was just vacationing at the same resort.
This woman then proceeded to make the experience worse by mocking the situation and calling Hannah out. “Oh, she’s jealous. Don’t be jealous,” the woman said, before she pointed at Hannah in a sassy manner and repeated the sentiment, “Do not be jealous woman.” She then won the duck race they decided on minutes prior, and she jumped up to talk some more to Nick.

Hannah didn’t hold back when it came to voicing how she felt about Nick riding the duck. She told him that it “grossed” her out. “I think sometimes I’m definitely someone who does things before I speak sometimes, or doesn’t sit down to think about them before I say them,” Hannah told TV Insider.
In Episode 6, Hannah admitted she “felt very disrespected” by Nick and the woman making fun of her during the duck incident. “I’m someone who addresses things, so I said what I said,” Hannah noted.
