RICHLAND, Wash.– People who live in Richland say a group of local kids spent their Halloween collecting something other than candy. Neighbors say the kids went door to door getting food to donate to a food bank instead.
They say the kids have been doing this for the past eight years, even collecting 3000 pounds of food and $500 in cash one year. This year, they say they brought the food to the Tri-Cities Food Bank in Benton City.
