FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. – A Level 2: Get Ready evacuation has been issued for residents in the area of Fir Road at North Columbia River Road due to a wildfire.
Franklin County Emergency Management is also asking people to avoid the area to allow room for responding fire trucks and crews.
Benton County has sent a bulldozer to help fight the fire and helicopter air support has been requested, according to Franklin County Fire District #3 Chief Mike Harris.
Under a Level 2 evacuation, residents should be ready to evacuate if the situation worsens.
