OUTLOOK, Wash. – Two men were arrested in the Outlook area on Mon., Sept. 30 for allegedly trafficking drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl among other items.
A press release from the Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) Task Force says officials executed a search warrant at a home on the 700 block of Arms Road with the help of the Washington State Patrol SWAT.
Two men, a 26-year-old and a 47-year-old both from Outlook, were arrested as a result on drug trafficking charges. The pair were observed actively engaging in drug trafficking in the area throughout an investigation.
The search found 75 pounds of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl, 65 pounds of illegal cannabis, five cases of illegal vape pens and 12 firearms.
The LEAD Task Force consists of members of the Grandview Police Department, Sunnyside Police Department, Washington State Patrol, Washington State Gambling Commission, Union Gap Police Department, Yakima County Prosecutor’s Office and the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials from Yakima County Fire District 5, the Sunnyside Fire Department, Yakima County Code Enforcement and Pasco Police Department also helped in the investigation.
