YAKIMA, Wash. – The Alexandra Lozano Immigration Law Firm (ALIL) donated over 200 winter coats to students at the Barge-Lincoln Elementary school on Monday, according to a press release from the Yakima School District.
The coats were delivered to students at 1 p.m. on Jan. 29 by the law firm’s team of volunteers from Seattle.
“Our roots run deep in the Yakima community, and many on our team have family members who attended Barge-Lincoln Elementary School,” said Founder and CEO Alexandra Lozano. “When we learned there were students needing warm winter clothing, we came together as a team to lend our support. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community so many of us call home, and our team of volunteers from our Seattle office is excited to surprise students with over 200 warm winter coats!”
The YSD’s press release says that ALIL is the largest humanitarian immigration law firm in the U.S. and specifically serves the Latino community.
The firm has offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Antonio and Houston with clients in 48 states.
