YAKIMA, Wash.-Starting Nov. 18. the west half of I Street will be closed for about three months as part of the ongoing North 1st Street Revitalization project.
The 24-hour lane closures for Phase 3 of the project will start at 1st Street and extend west to the alley, according to the City of Yakima.
The traffic signal at I Street and N. 1st will flash red during the closures that are expected to be in place until the second week of February.
Updates on the project will be posted online and through the City of Yakima’s social media.
When the west half of the project is done, the 1st Street/I Street intersection will be rebuilt on the east side of I Street.
