YAKIMA, Wash.-Kids ages four and up are invited to become hockey players for a day with Kraken and Yakima youth hockey coaches on Dec. 21.
Kids will have the opportunity to learn skating techniques and participate in passing and shooting drills, as well as learn what it’s like to play in a real game, according to a press release on the event.
Registration for the event that runs from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Yakima Ice Arena is available online.
Participating children should bring a helmet (hockey, bike or ski), gloves, mittens and warm clothing and hockey pads, sticks and skates if they have them (skates will be provided for those who do not have them).
