KENNEWICK, Wash.-Panera Bread, a national chain known for its sandwiches and soups based in Missouri, will reportedly open a location in the former Old Country Buffet building at 6821 W. Canal Drive.
According to the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business, Panera’s 3,800 square foot Kennewick location is set to open in 2025 and the building is expected to have room for one or two additional tenants.
The redevelopment of the building for the new restaurant will cost about $4.2 million and will include demolition and construction, according to the TCAJB.
