KENNEWICK, WA — A man is on the run after allegedly assaulting a woman with a knife late on Saturday night.
Kennewick Police Department officers responded to the incident in the 1300 block of W 10th Avenue, where the caller reported that a male suspect attacked a woman before fleeing on foot.
Officers teamed up with deputies from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office to secure the area and gather more information. Police said the woman received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.
Police also said they are still looking for the suspect for felony assault and other charges. Nonstop Local typically does not name suspects until they are formally charged.
