Kennewick Police arrest man for firearm theft

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Police Department arrested a man in Kennewick Saturday morning for three counts of firearm theft according to an evening media release.

At around 10:37 a.m., KPD officers were called to the 4600 block of West 10th Avenue for reports of a suspicious man, who they found laying in an open field with a rifle.

Following investigation, officers found probable cause for arrest and arrested the man for three counts of theft of a firearm.

KPD officers were assisted in the arrest with a Pasco Police Department drone.
