KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Man and Woman of the Year were announced at a banquet on Monday after a months-long nomination and selection process.
The Kennewick Man of the Year was named to be Boys and Girls Club CEO Brian Ace. The Kennewick Woman of the Year was announced to be B5 Learning Center Founder Theresa Roosendaal.
Nominations were opened in December and were due by Jan. 5. The winners were honored and presented with the award at a banquet at the Three Rivers Convention Center by previous recipients Wayne Bell and Candice Bluechel.
The Kennewick Man and Woman of the Year awards honor a tradition that dates back to the 1940s.
