KENNEWICK, Wash.-The Kennewick Irrigation District’s 6th Annual Holiday Safety Event is set for 1:30 p.m. to 4: 30 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 12 at the KID office in Kennewick.
The free, family-friendly event will feature pictures with Santa, free gifts while supplies last, and safety information and resources from local organizations, according to the KID.
“This event has grown from just 50 families in 2019 to over 1,000 last year and is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community and promote safety awareness during the holiday season,” said Matthew Berglund, Public Information Officer at KID.
The KID will also be accepting new, unwrapped toys at the Holiday Safety Event for the Toys for Tots program.
